CENEX LCV2017 – 6th and 7th September 2017

MAGTEC will be on Stand SP03 at this year’s Low Carbon Vehicle Show – occupying over 100 sq metres to showcase the very latest EV drivetrain technology. You’ll be able to find out exactly how an EV drivetrain can transform your fleet, as we’re bringing along three state-of-the-art demonstrator vehicles.

  • GreenFleet Arrive ‘n’ Drive at Rockingham - 28th September 2017

    Magtec were alongside Paneltex with their 7.5 tonne Isuzu truck which was well received by everyone who drove it round the Rockingham Speedway track – with people saying it was the highlight of the show! The UKs first electric refuse truck was also on display.

  • Lib Dem councillors visit Magtec - 20th September 2017

    Magtec took Lib Dem councillors on a tour, starting from Sheffield Town Hall, visiting our vehicle conversion site in Rotherham and our component manufacturing site in Sheffield. Coun Ian Auckland, transport spokesman for Sheffield Liberal Democrats, said: “A bus is the answer to many urban transport problems. The engine for the bus of the future is being made today right here in Sheffield. This engine is electric powered by batteries. The engine is compact, silent, powerful and crucially pollution free, and battery fuel lasts a full day. I'm very very impressed by Magtec. The leaders of this company are committed to Sheffield and South Yorkshire and we need to see them powering vehicles on the streets of Sheffield.”
